Apprentice Hunters Program

The future of hunting and wildlife conservation remains with our youth, but statistically, fewer and fewer youths are entering the hunting world.

The Safari Club International Foundation Apprentice Hunter Program was established in 1992. The mission of the program is to help educate and train young people in a combination of outdoor skills. The activities include environmental education, wildlife management and respect and understanding of conservation.

Hunter Education, ethics and safety are included in the program. Keys to successful program include proper curriculum, dedicated teaching staff and a proper hunting facility.
